Indiana Public Retirement System, Indianapolis, plans to issue an RFP on Nov. 11 for private equity and absolute-return consultants for the $28 billion pension fund.
Current private equity consultant Strategic Investment Solutions and absolute-return consultant Aksia may rebid, spokesman Jeff Hutson said.
SIS is also the pension fund's general investment consultant. That contract is unrelated to the private equity consultant search, Mr. Hutson said.
The RFP will be posted on the INPRS website. Proposals are scheduled to be due Dec. 20, with a selection set for March 7.
Separately, the pension fund committed $100 million to hedge fund Two Sigma Advisers to manage in an equity market-neutral fund. Funding came from cash, Mr. Hutson said.
