SWIB is undertaking the RFP as part of its “standard due diligence procedures,” Vicki Hearing, SWIB public information officer, said in an e-. Courtland was hired through an RFP process in 2005 for a three-year contract with annual renewals. That latest renewal will expire Dec. 31.
SWIB, which oversees $97 billion in total assets, has $5.7 billion in real estate assets.
The RFP is available on the pension fund’s website. Responses are due Nov. 20. The board expects to make a decision the week of Dec. 9.
