Philadelphia Gas Works Retirement Reserve reissued an RFP for custody services, confirmed Charles C. Jones, executive director of the Sinking Fund Commission of the City of Philadelphia, the trustee for the $480 million defined benefit pension fund.
The RFP originally was issued in March but received only one response, so the commission has requested the RFP be reissued. The original respondent, the incumbent, Wells Fargo Bank, is encouraged to submit its original proposal again.
The RFP is available on the City of Philadelphia’s contracting website. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EST Nov. 26. A decision is expected at a meeting on March 12, 2014.
