Julie Wyne was named retirement administrator at the Sonoma County Employees' Retirement Association, according to a news release from the Santa Rosa, Calif.-based pension fund.
Ms. Wyne will start Dec. 10 and replace Gary Bei, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Executive search firm Alliance Resource Consulting assisted the $2 billion pension fund in its search.
Ms. Wyne is assistant CEO, external and legal operations, at the $10.5 billion Orange County Employees Retirement System, Santa Ana, Calif. Information on how the plan will proceed in replacing her could not be learned by press time.
