Steven C. Snyder, Michael H. Strauss and Marc Bernhardt were named to Commonfund's new multiasset program, confirmed Keith Luke, managing director and head of client sales and service.
All the positions are new. The program was launched in an effort to “make sure we have focused resources in the $50 million and under non-profit clients,” Mr. Luke said. “It's a part of the marketplace we think is growing rapidly.”
Mr. Snyder was named managing director and head of the multiasset team; he is currently managing director and head of client services. Mr. Snyder's current duties will be assumed by other members of the client services team.
Mr. Strauss, chief investment strategist and chief economist at Commonfund, will retain his current duties, but will work with Mr. Snyder to construct investment strategies for the multiasset program.
Mr. Bernhardt was named director and portfolio strategist, and will report to Mr. Strauss. He is a relationship officer serving multiasset program clients at Commonfund and will be replaced in that role.
