Miles Fortas, Brian Jones and Robert Longfield — formerly executives at Consulting Services Group — have launched Gavion LLC, confirmed spokeswoman Jennifer Sansing Murff.
The firm, owned by the three co-founders and seven other employees as partners, was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on June 14 and has $18.4 billion in assets under advisement — all previously overseen by CSG — with 23 employees, according to Ms. Murff.
Mr. Fortas is chief financial officer and chief compliance officer; he was executive vice president, CFO, chief operating officer and chief compliance officer at CSG.
Mr. Jones is president, the same title he held at CSG; and Mr. Longfield is CEO; at CSG he was executive vice president and senior consultant.
The status of CSG could not be learned by press time.
