Kent County Council Superannuation Fund, Maidstone, England, selected Longview Partners, M&G Investments, Magellan Asset Management, and Sarasin & Partners for a preapproved list of active, long-only global equity managers to run between £150 million ($239.5 million) and £200 million, according to a notice from Tenders Electronic Daily, a European procurement website.
The £3.4 billion superannuation fund issued an RFI in February. The search was conducted to allow more flexibility in the fund's £1.1 billion global equity portfolio. There were no plans at the time to make any changes in the fund's manager roster.
Investment consultant Hymans Robertson assisted.
