Jaime Erickson was promoted to executive director for retirement benefits at Comcast Corp., Philadelphia, assuming “an expanded role” for benefits management at the company, confirmed John Demming, a spokesman for Comcast.
Ms. Erickson had been executive director, benefits integration. “Jaime is taking on these responsibilities as part of the transition of NBCUniversal's retirement plans to Comcast,” Mr. Demming wrote in an e-mail. She will “focus on designing a financial health strategy that can be customized to meet the unique needs of employees working within Comcast's various business segments.” She retains her previous duties.
Ms. Erickson previously had been director of retirement benefits for NBCUniversal when it was a joint venture between Comcast and General Electric. Comcast agreed in February to buy General Electric's 49% stake in NBCUniversal. The acquisition was completed in March.
Comcast has more than $4 billion in retirement plan assets, most of which is in defined contribution plans, according to Mr. Demming.
