Spokane Transit Authority, Spokane, Wash., is searching for an investment consultant for its defined contribution plans, confirmed Laurie Hitchcock, purchasing agent with the authority.
The authority has four 401(a) plans and one 457 plan, with combined assets of $45 million.
The search is being conducted due to the agency's policy to seek competitive proposals periodically and that the current firm would be invited to rebid, Ms. Hitchcock wrote in an e-mail. She would not identify the firm.
The plans' current record keeper and administrator is ICMA-RC.
RFPs can be obtained by calling Ms. Hitchcock at 509-226-1979 or by e-mailing [email protected]. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. PDT on Oct. 29. Finalist interviews, if required, are scheduled for Nov. 12, with a decision expected on Nov. 20. A five-year contract is scheduled to begin Dec. 1.
