Wayne County Employees' Retirement System, Detroit, committed up to $35 million each to private debt funds managed by Sankaty Advisors and Garrison Investment Group, according to recently released minutes of the Aug. 26 board meeting.
It is the $761 million pension fund's first commitments to both managers.
No further information was available. Robert Grden, executive director, was not available by press time.
