Orlando (Fla.) Police Pension Fund rehired NEPC as investment consultant and Bank of New York Mellon as global custodian, confirmed Jay L. Smith, chairman of the board of trustees of the $445 million pension fund.
The city of Orlando issued RFPs in July because of the expirations of the contracts of both firms on Sept. 30. The RFPs were sent on behalf of the police pension fund, the $299 million Orlando Firefighters' Pension Fund and the $196 million Orlando General Employees' Pension Fund.
All three pension funds have separate boards. Mr. Smith did not know whether decisions have been made at the other pension funds.
There were no other finalists.
