Royal County of Berkshire Pension Fund, Maidenhead, England, hired Grosvenor Capital Management as a consultant to overhaul its hedge fund portfolio, a pension fund spokesman confirmed.
The £1.6 billion ($2.6 billion) pension fund began its search in October 2012 to help design, implement and monitor a “better portfolio,” Nick Greenwood, pension fund manager, said at the time.
The portfolio in October 2012 totaled £250 million and was established in 2008 following an asset-liability management study.
Mr. Greenwood would not provide any comment.
