Peng Luo will join PineBridge Investments in Hong Kong as managing director, institutional sales for Greater China, effective Oct. 15.
It is a new position, a PineBridge spokeswoman confirmed.
Mr. Luo was managing director, head of China financial institutions and retail sales at Societe Generale Securities (Hong Kong), according to a PineBridge news release.
Shirley Teo, a Hong Kong-based spokeswoman with Societe Generale, declined to comment.
