Superannuation Arrangements of the University of London hired Payden & Rygel to run £80 million ($129 million) in absolute-return fixed income, confirmed Kevin Wade, head of investments for the £1.9 billion SAUL.
It is a new allocation, Mr. Wade said in a telephone interview. Funding comes from cash.
The portfolio uses global strategies including asset-backed securities, emerging markets debt, global high yield, and mortgage-backed securities.
