The International Monetary Fund released its latest World Economic Outlook on Tuesday, lowering its worldwide GDP forecast by 200 basis points, to 2.9% in 2013. The IMF predicts growth to be 3.6% next year. Advanced economies will grow by 1.2% and 2% in 2013 and 2014, respectively, while developing markets are now forecast to grow by 4.5% and 5.1%.
