Fulton County School Employees Pension Fund, Atlanta, will soon search for an investment consultant, confirmed Greta Tinaglia, executive director.
A search will be conducted because the $293 million pension fund recently installed a new pension board in June and also changed some of its investment policies, Ms. Tinaglia said in a telephone interview.
The current consultant, Gray & Co., will be invited to rebid. Ms. Tinaglia said the board hopes to have a contract start date of Feb. 1.
The county recently posted an RFP for a firm to assist in the search for an investment consultant.
The RFP for that search is available on the school district's website. Proposals for the search will be due at 2:30 p.m. EST on Nov. 5.
