Franklin (Mass.) Regional Retirement System is searching for a manager to run $10 million in domestic small-cap core equity, confirmed Steven Roth, director of manager research for Dahab Associates, the $100 million defined benefit pension fund's consultant, which is assisting with the search.
The search is open to both passive and active managers, according to the RFP.
The pension fund issued the RFP because its contract with its current small-cap core equity manager, Daruma Capital Management, is expiring, according to Mr. Roth. Daruma Capital is invited to rebid.
The RFP can be found on Dahab's website. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. EDT on Nov. 1. A selection date was not disclosed.
