Eric Hasenauer was named senior vice president and head of U.S. institutional sales at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group, and Gary Simonette was named vice president of institutional sales at the firm.
The positions are new, Mr. Hasenauer said in an interview. Mr. Hasenauer will report Warren Stoddart, co-CEO for CC&L Financial Group; Mr. Simonette will report to Mr. Hasenauer.
CC&L Financial Group is a multiboutique firm with 10 affiliates that manage a total of C$46 billion (US$44.5 billion) in asset. About C$42.5 billion is from worldwide institutional clients, with C$1 billion of that from U.S. institutional clients, Mr. Hasenauer said.
Mr. Hasenauer was managing director and head of institutional sales at Aviva Investors North America, responsible for direct sales and client service to U.S. and Canadian institutional investors. Mr. Simonette was client relations manager at Aviva Investors North America. They left the firm in May.
The appointments coincide with the opening of CC&L Financial Group's New York office.
