Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management has made two hires for its real estate business in the Americas, confirmed company spokeswoman Pholida Barclay.
Matthew Jaffe joined DeAWM as a director and alternative investment specialist in the global client group, focusing on real estate. Emily Zagorski joined DeAWM as a vice president to lead product development across the real estate investment platform in the Americas.
Mr. Jaffe is based in New York and reports to Laura Gaylord, co-head of alternatives investment specialists for the Americas. He was previously a director of global markets at Societe Generale. Representatives from Societe Generale did not return calls seeking information about Ms. Gaylord's replacement by press time.
Ms. Zagorski is based in New York and reports to Marlena Casellini, deputy chief operating officer for the Americas, alternatives and real assets. Previously, Ms. Zagorski was with J.P Morgan Global Wealth Management, where she led several initiatives, including global funds management and product development for the private bank and alternative investment investor relations. Representatives from J.P. Morgan declined to comment.
At press time, it could not be learned whether the positions were new.
