Richard Dell was named global head of the equity boutique unit at Mercer, confirmed company spokesman Charles Salmans.
Mr. Dell replaces Deb Clarke, who was appointed global head of investment research at Mercer.
Mr. Dell will be responsible for overseeing the equity boutique, which provides research on equity fund managers and strategies across the global markets, and he also will be responsible for developing and producing intellectual capital-providing advice to clients on future investment opportunities. He will report to Ms. Clarke.
Mr. Dell was previously a senior researcher at Mercer. His responsibilities will be assumed by members of the equity research team, Ms. Clarke said in an e-mail.
