Pilgrim's Corp., Greeley, Colo., hired Great-West Retirement Services as bundled provider for its 401(k) plan, confirmed an official at the company who did not want to be named.
Great-West replaces Prudential Retirement. The change was primarily cost-driven, the official said.
The change will take effect Nov. 1. A blackout period will be in effect from Oct. 28 to Nov. 15.
The Pilgrim's Pride Retirement Savings Plan had $252 million in assets as of Dec. 31, according its most recent Form 5500 filing.
