Joshua Newmister was named global retirement leader for Intuit Inc., Mountain View, Calif.
Mr. Newmister said in an e-mail that he will be “focused on delivering the customer benefit in Intuit's retirement program around the world by developing innovative and thoughtful investment and plan design.”
In addition, he wrote that he will “lead and strengthen the governance structure already in place globally, as well as broaden Intuit's financial wellness initiatives.”
Intuit had $845 million in defined contribution assets, according to Pensions & Investments' data.

Mr. Newmister previously was global retirement program manager for Symantec Corp., Mountain View, Calif.
