Jason Sheller was named director and head of fund services for the Americas in Deutsche Bank's global transaction banking division.
The position is new, said Ari Cohen, Deutsche Bank spokesman. Mr. Sheller will oversee sales efforts to private equity, real estate and hedge funds. Mr. Sheller will report to Simon Behan, global head of fund services sales.
Mr. Sheller was executive director in private equity services sales at J.P. Morgan Chase. Brian Marchiony, J.P. Morgan spokesman, was not immediately available to provide information on his replacement.
