Rider University, Lawrence, N.J., is overhauling the investment option lineup of its 403(b) retirement plan, according to a newsletter posted on the plan's website.
Among the new investment options are nine equity funds: the American Funds EuroPacific Growth fund, Diamond Hill Small-Mid Cap fund, Eaton Vance Atlanta Capital Smid-Cap fund, J.P. Morgan Large Cap Growth fund, MFS Value fund, Schroder Emerging Markets Equity fund, Vanguard 500 Index fund, Vanguard Extended Market Index fund, and Vanguard Total International Stock Index fund.
The plan also added four fixed-income options: Metropolitan West Total Return Bond fund, Templeton Global Bond fund, Vanguard Inflation-Protected Securities, and Vanguard Total Bond Market Index fund.
The plan also added a T. Rowe Price target-date series to replace a series of TIAA-CREF lifecycle funds.
The plan is removing 18 investment options all managed by TIAA-CREF.
A phone call to Mona Marder, director of compensation and benefits, was referred to university spokesman John Lenox, who could not provide further information, including an asset size for the plan, by press time.
