Sanford (Fla.) Police Officers’ Retirement System is searching for a domestic small-cap core equity manager to run $3 million to $4 million, confirmed Susy Pita, administrator.
The $32 million pension fund is conducting the search in an effort to diversify its portfolio, according to Ms. Pita. Both active and passive managers will be considered. She could not provide further information.
The RFP is available on investment consultant Dahab Associates’ website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Oct. 23. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
