Douglas Ross joined London-based Polygon Global Partners as head of North American business development.
In this new position, which is based in New York, Mr. Ross will focus on marketing Polygon's hedge funds to U.S. and Canadian clients, said Jonathan Gasthalter, a spokesman, in an e-mail.
Mr. Ross was head of business development at hedge fund manager Field Street Capital Management, where his duties have been assumed by others on the marketing and investor relations team, said Aaron Gillespie, a company spokesman.
