Maricopa County Community College District, Tempe, Ariz., is searching for its first third-party administrator for its 403(b) plan, according to an RFP posted on the district's website.
The community college district's human resources staff currently handles administrative duties for the retirement plan.
Due to new IRS regulations, the district is seeking a third-party administrator to administer 403(b) transactions and perform other activities to be in compliance with the regulations.
An asset size for the plan could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is available on the district's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. MST on Oct. 7. A decision is expected in December.
