State of Wisconsin Investment Board, Madison, issued a request for information in a search for investment management technology consulting firms.
The $97 billion SWIB intends to select firms for a list it is creating of consultants with experience in portfolio management, investment risk management, securities trading, investment accounting or other investment-specific areas.
“Consulting in the investment industry should be the primary source of revenue for the consultancies submitting responses to this questionnaire,” according to the request for information, which is available on SWIB's website.
The RFI doesn't specify how many consulting firms the investment board will select. The prequalification will facilitate hiring for projects. Responses are due Sept. 30. SWIB expects to make a decision the week of Oct. 28.
