Nela D'Agosta joined MetLife as managing director of marketing and investor services for the private capital investors group of the company's institutional investment manager, MetLife Investment Management, according spokesman Fred Pieretti.
The position is new. Ms. D'Agosta will be responsible for marketing and relationship management efforts for the private capital investment unit. She will report to Louis Jug, managing director and head of investor services for MIM.
Mr. Jug said in a statement issued by MetLife that the hiring of Ms. D'Agosta “will help grow MIM's institutional asset management business.”
Ms. D'Agosta was a senior relationship manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Goldman Sachs spokeswoman Andrea Raphael confirmed Ms. D'Agosta’s departure from the company but declined to comment further.
