Chris Davies was appointed CEO of A$13 billion (US$11.9 billion) Telstra Super, Australia's largest corporate superannuation fund.
Mr. Davies replaces Martin Crowe, who retired Aug. 30.
Brian Jacobs, spokesman for Telstra Super, said in an e-mail that Mr. Davies' official start date hasn't been announced yet. Mr. Davies comes to Melbourne-based Telstra Super from A$35.5 billion UniSuper, where he is executive manager, member and employer solutions, according to a Telstra Super news release.
A UniSuper spokesperson said Mr. Davies will continue in his current role for several weeks before moving on. Asked about plans to replace Mr. Davies, the spokesperson said CEO Kevin O'Sullivan is reviewing the structure of UniSuper's executive team.
