Peter Corippo was named senior strategist, investment outsourcing, at Russell Investments, confirmed spokeswoman Kate Stouffer.
It is a new position. Mr. Corippo reports to Michael Thomas, chief investment officer, Americas institutional.
Mr. Corippo was previously director-investments and benefit finance at PG&E Corp., San Francisco, where he oversaw the company's $17 billion in total retirement plan assets. Efforts to reach Kent M. Harvey, PG&E senior vice president and chief financial officer, and Tim Fitzpatrick, PG&E vice president, corporate relations and chief communications officer, were unsuccessful by press time.
