Christian Brothers Investment Services is promoting three executives, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Alessandro Lombardi was named president of CBIS Global, the firm's European division, replacing Louis DeThomasis, who was appointed corporate chairman, a new position.
Mr. DeThomasis will assist Mr. Lombardi on strategic direction and corporate growth. He will also continue to be involved with CBIS Global, but in a less hands-on capacity, the spokeswoman said in an e-mail.
Mr. Lombardi is currently vice president of CBIS Global. He will not be replaced.
In addition, David L. Skelding has been promoted to executive vice president. In this new position, he will oversee the company's sales and service activities.
Mr. Skelding is currently CBIS vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer. He will continue in his roles as general counsel and chief compliance officer, as well as continue to serve as head of distribution.
All three executives will report to Michael W. O'Hern, president and CEO of CBIS.
“These new roles will lead to greater alignment between CBIS and CBIS Global as we continue to serve Catholic institutions around the world,” said Mr. O'Hern in a statement issued by the company.
