Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System, Oklahoma City, hired Northern Trust Global Investments to run about $430 million in passive international large-cap equity, said James Wilbanks, executive director of the $12.3 billion pension fund.
BNY Mellon Investment Management was also a finalist.
An RFP was issued in July. Funding is coming from the previous termination of a $400 million active international equity portfolio managed by Brandes Investment Partners.
