Dallas Employees' Retirement Fund returned 14.2% for the year ended June 30, surpassing its policy benchmark of 13.1%, said Cheryl Alston, executive director.
The real assets portfolio was the top performer, with a 37.6% return, followed by international equity, 20.5%; domestic equity, 20.2%; real estate, 10.3%; high yield, 7.9%; private equity, 6.4%; and global fixed income, 0.5%.
The pension fund had $3.1 billion in assets as of June 30.
