Pawtucket (R.I.) Police and Fire Pension Plan is searching for an actuary, confirmed David Clemente, purchasing agent.
Incumbent Stone Consulting Inc. is invited to rebid.
The selected firm will also provide actuarial services for a self-insurance health-care program for the city’s other post-employment benefits program, according to the RFP.
The pension plan has $88 million in assets.
The RFP is available on the city’s website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT Sept. 12. A hiring decision is expected within the next two months.
