Kathleen Powers Dunlap was named partner and chief business strategy officer at Fiduciary Research & Consulting, a spokesman confirmed.
It is a new position. Ms. Dunlap was hired to help FRC broaden its marketing and client development, the spokesman said. She is responsible for creating, communicating and executing the firm's strategic business plan. She reports to John Boich, president and chief investment officer.
Ms. Dunlap will also serve as a member of FRC's investment committee.
She was most recently managing director and global head of the institutional investor team at Barclays Capital Solutions. Spokesmen from Barclays could not be reached for replacement information by press time.
