St. Louis Employees' Retirement System is searching for an active domestic small-cap growth equity manager to run about $20 million, confirmed Richard Olliges, accounting officer.
The $705 million pension fund issued an RFP because the current manager, Columbia Partners LLC Investment Management, is on watch for performance. The firm is invited to rebid. Steven J. Binder, managing principal and director of client relations at Columbia Partners, did not return a phone call seeking comment by press time.
Proposals are due at 4 p.m. CDT on Sept. 23. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
The RFP is available at the city's website.
