Thomasville (Ga.) Employees' Retirement System is searching for an actuary, according to an RFP posted on the city's website.
The $26 million pension fund is looking for a firm to provide “actuarial and consulting services,” for the defined benefit plan and other post-employment benefits, including a biennial actuarial report and benefit calculations.
Information on the firm now providing the services could not be learned by press time.
Proposals are due at 10 a.m. EDT on Aug. 30. A timetable for a decision has not yet been determined.
