The district is putting out all services to bid; current provider Pension and Retirement Services is invited to rebid, according to Ms. Windmann.
The two plans have combined assets of $5.2 million.
Proposals are due at noon CDT on Aug. 27. A decision is expected by Sept. 12, with implementation scheduled to begin on Jan. 1.
The RFP is available on the Fire Protection District's website.
