Eileen Rominger joined CamberView Partners as a senior adviser to the firm, which provides corporate governance and proxy voting consulting services to corporations in contested situations and shareholder engagements.
Ms. Rominger started work Monday, filling a new position at the firm, said Jenny Lynn, global head of marketing.
Ms. Rominger's most recent position was director of the Division of Investment Management of the Securities and Exchange Commission from February 2011 to July 2012.
Before joining the SEC, Ms. Rominger was with Goldman Sachs Asset Management for 11 years, including serving as the firm's global chief investment officer.
In the interim between leaving the SEC and joining CamberView, Ms. Rominger took personal time to spend with her family, Abe M. Friedman, managing partner, said in an interview.
Ms. Rominger’s “track record of leadership and deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape will advance CamberView as a leading adviser to the investment community,” Mr. Friedman said in the interview.
