Kevin Hardy, a managing director and head of beta strategies in BlackRock's Hong Kong office, has taken on the additional role of the firm’s country head for Singapore.
Mr. Hardy will move to Singapore to take on those responsibilities, which include overseeing BlackRock's broader business across Southeast Asia, according to a spokesman for the firm.
Alasdair Riach, a managing director who had been Singapore country head, will retain his other title as head of BlackRock's institutional client business for Singapore and Southeast Asia.
