David Silber was named chief investment officer of the $4.6 billion Milwaukee City Employes’ Retirement System, confirmed Bernard J. “Jerry” Allen, executive director.
Mr. Silber became interim CIO following the death of previous CIO Thomas Rick on May 13. Mr. Silber was previously one of two investment analysts with the retirement system and had kept those duties.
Mr. Allen wrote in an e-mail that the retirement system intends to fill Mr. Silber’s investment analyst position.
