Larry Post will retire as chief investment officer at Post Advisory Group on Dec. 31, confirmed Jaime Naig, a spokeswoman for the firm's owner, The Principal Financial Group, on Thursday.
Mr. Post will not be directly replaced, Ms. Naig said. Instead, the firm is promoting two senior investment officers. Jeremy Sagi, managing director-senior portfolio manager of short duration strategies, will become CIO for that asset class, while Henry Chyung, managing director-lead portfolio manager of traditional high yield, high-yield plus and senior loans, will become CIO for his specialty area. They will retain their previous duties.
“It is time for me to recognize the contribution of the next generation of talent at Post and give them more responsibility,” Mr. Post said in a news release.
Mr. Post plans to continue his involvement in the firm in the role of vice chairman, according to the news release.
