The vast majority of money managers reporting earnings for the quarter ended June 30 saw their AUM fall, prompting P&I Online to ask readers what they expect for the quarter ending Sept. 30.
P&I Online readers were split on their expectation. On the positive side, they overwhelmingly don't expect AUM to fall this quarter, as 40% believe it will rise, and another 40% expect it to remain about the same. A small minority of readers, 20%, expect AUM to fall between now and Sept. 30.
