Toby Hayes was named vice president and portfolio manager, multiasset strategies, at Franklin Templeton, confirmed a company spokeswoman.
It is a new position. Mr. Hayes, who is joining the company on Sept. 2, will be based in London and will report to Brent Smith, managing director of funds research and management, multiasset strategies.
Mr. Hayes was a partner and multiasset portfolio manager at Pacific Real Estate Capital Partners. Efforts to reach officials at the firm by press time were unsuccessful.
