The State Street Investor Confidence index - which measures the risk appetite of institutional investors based on buying and selling patterns - rose 12.5% in July. The index increases as equity allocations rise - indicating a higher risk appetite (confidence). It rose in July to 106.8, up from 94.9 in June to reach its highest level since March 2010.
