Regina M. Tuczak was named executive director of the Chicago Policemen's Annuity & Benefit Fund by the board of the $3 billion fund at its monthly meeting on Friday.
Ms. Tuczak confirmed her appointment during a brief interview.
She has been acting executive director since Dec. 1, after John J. Gallagher left that role to take the same position at the $12.9 billion Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund, Columbus. Ms. Tuczak previously was the comptroller of the Chicago police fund.
