Plano, Texas, is searching for an investment consultant for its 457 deferred compensation plan, confirmed Earl Whitaker, buyer supervisor for the city.
The incumbent consultant, The Retirement Store, is invited to rebid. Its contract expires Jan. 31. The new contract is for three years with two additional one-year renewal options.
The $70 million plan has 23 investment options in addition to a series of lifestyle and lifecycle funds. ICMA-RC is the provider.
The RFP is available on procurement website BidSync. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CDT Aug. 12. A hiring date has not been determined.
