Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System has reissued an RFP for one or more managers to run a $253 million active emerging markets value equities portfolio.
Officials at the $12 billion pension fund originally launched the RFP last year, with responses due in January. After reviewing the responses, the board decided to change the minimum qualifications of potential managers and re-open the search, according to materials on LACERS' website.
Firms that had responded to the prior search are being asked to submit new proposals.
The RFP is located on the pension fund's website. Responses are due Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. PDT.
Further information was unavailable at deadline.
