Flintshire County Council Clwyd Pension Fund, Mold, Wales, committed £5 million ($7.7 million) to Threadneedle Low-Carbon Workplace Trust, confirmed Philip Latham, pension fund manager.
The commitment is within the £1.1 billion pension fund's real asset class. The Low-Carbon Workplace Trust is a partnership between Threadneedle Investments, Stanhope and the Carbon Trust.
